Old Man from sketches to 3D model
As you can see, at first we weren't even sure what traits would the old man has and the style of design we're looking for. From happy, sad to grumpy. From Disney's Tangled style, Sony's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball to Pixar's Up style. These are the only few of the many trial and errors that we made in search for our Old Man.

We didn't do as much research on the waiter's designsthe waiter, because the waiter is basically a background character, But that doesn't mean we neglect him. The overall design is just for the torso, cause that's the part that we'll mainly see throughout the film.

Environment, Props and Signage from sketches to 3D model
A Japanese sushi restaurant. When we first think of that, we want to add in a conveyor belt STAT. But realized that the moving sushi will only distract the audience. And our mentor, Mike L. Murphy suggested for us to make a more traditional - rustic kinda rather than the modern Japanese restaurant. We were quite inspired by Jiro's sushi restaurant after our mentor suggested it to us, it has a warm and cozy look to it.
